Wonderful balance for a dark roast. Rich and full, but without the heaviness that often comes with a dark roast. Absolutely love it!

This first time I ever sampled this coffee was as gift sent to me from my friends who live in Redmond, WA. The gift was a 1lb bag of whole bean Pilot’s Expresso. I was so new to drinking “good” coffee that I didn’t even have a grinder. Once I acquired the coffee grinder and was able to brew myself some expresso, I took a sip and my life was changed. This coffee is AMAZING. Since then I have purchased a good grinder and a high end expresso maker all in efforts to get the most out of this incredible roast. If I have a negative comment, it is that no other coffee out there that taste as good, so I am always disappointed when I have an expresso not made at home. I live in Cape Coral, FL and this is the only coffee we keep in our house, we order the 5lb bag on the regular.
